Many people believe that the government has no reason to be doing business, and so do I. Any effort to privatise is welcome, whether the company is a navaratna or not. These navaratnas are profitable because they are government monopolies, not because of any managerial skills.
And why do you use such a strange name? Was it given to you by your parents?

Mr.Prem Mohan Don’t you see the scams precipitated by the private sector? We have a notion that if everything is privatised the whole problem will be solved. Man, the embodiments of desires, is prone to move away from Dharma. It is better to have some kind of control by a force. Take the fact “Acting out of desire is not approved of, but here on earth there is no such thing as no desire. Desire is the very root of conception of a definite intention. Everything that one does is motivated by the desire precisely for that thing” Capitalism advocate action based on DESIRE of individual. ( A personal attribute) Communism advocate action based on the desire of society (STATE). Capitalism encourages the desire of individuals. Free market economics is the corollary. Fuming desire is destructive to the state. That is Free Market Economics ending in Melt Downs. Communism do not encourage rather suppress desires of individuals. Thus the individual looses initiative. That also slows down the progress of state. That happened in USSR. Result collapse of the state. Indian Constitution visualizes a middle path. I think this is more advisable. The governments regulate the desires (micro/macro) of individuals. We call it governance. All enactments are aimed to achieve/regulate some target (desires).
