All Indians Must Hang Their Heads In Utter Shame
by Indian Tribe on Dec 29, 2012 11:37 PM  | Hide replies

Indian society is highly and ridiculously rotten. PROTEST MARCH IN DELHI AND OTHER CITIES IS JUST A DRAMA and serves no purpose:
1.      Source of inspiration and absolute fun for raping or molesting woman in India is drawn from Mahabharata where DRAUPADI’s clothe is stripped in public for group rape and fun.
2.      The same inspiration years after years carried out by often many devoute Indians wherein every 40 minutes there are instances of rapes across India.
3.      Real rape incidences are so common and acceptable practice that the rape victims never dare to report to the police all because of the societal stigma attached to the VICTIM.
4.      Indian culture is the same as those 50 odd bystanders from whom not a single person had the decency or humanism to even cover the bodies of the hapless victims when they were thrown out of the bus.
5.      India still in the STONE AGE, there are rapes incidences wherein even the 2 yrs kid is raped by 40-70 yrs men, 70 yrs old lady is raped by 20-50 yrs old men, but when reported police and legal fraternity are completely indifferent to the victims.
6.      There are politicians or individuals who have open proofs of raping, but are given tickets and such members are framing the laws for the nation, India.
7.      More than 50% of the rape incidences in India occur within the family circle rapists being father sor step-father, cousins, uncles, and very known neighbours - uncles...

Shame on the govt!
by Grizzly on Dec 29, 2012 03:54 PM  | Hide replies

Why hasnt the govt taken responsibility?

Isnt it the responsibility of the govt to provide security to its citizens?

How can the govt justify its carelessness despite these crimes being repeated in all parts of India for decades now?

Why did this girl have to face such brutal assault and ultimately give her life for the govt to wake up to it?

When will our govt become proactive?

Is congras just shedding crocodile tears?

When common man protests, this govt uses full force to law to suppress us but when the criminals break law, this govt goes into hiding!

Shame on the govt!

All security in the capital can not be just the secirity of our elected representatives and their relatives.

By closing the roads to India Gate and Raisina Hill for the public, including shutting as amny as 10 Metro stations is against the safety and 'suvidha' that is the birth-right of the peaceful protestors.

Hurry up and open up.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was right when she asked Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to lift restrictions on holding peaceful demonstration.

If they do not get it in their thick skulls then the current wave of protests, like almost every public dialogue in India, has a tendency to invariably degenerate into a clash of personalities that usurps centerstage and relegates the issue at hand to the backburner but NOT FORGOTTEN NOR FORGIVEN.

Her sad demise after fighting for life for 13 days is most distressing. Even in her death , she contributed so much for creating public awareness on rape crimes. The people literally have been looking for some positive news of improvement in her health when ever they switched on their TVs.Let government consider creating some mechanism/infrastructure to prevent rape related crimes in her name.
It is not merely delhi but the entire nation condoles her death

It is also a duty as a conscious citizen not to let her death go in vain.

Public memory is short and fickle due to their superficial nature and they will soon go back to bollywood and cricket and other superficialities.

It is important to ensure that her memory is kept alive so that a lasting mechanism to prevent rape and crime is forged in the process.

This would be the true way to honour her and other victims of rape and crime and to ensure that their pain and suffering was not in vain.

we should not get this anger. It should be remembered forever like 9-11 in USA. Remember what happened to this poor girl and if we forget it will repeat it self than it could be you or your sister or you wife. Let this fire go for a long time.

Dont blame the public protest and say that protest has been highjacked. You are an IPS, understand the public and not the Govt, who will last only for their tenure. Dont blame on any person like Ramdev. VK Singh, kiran bedi. Let your police get punishment from the public, as they are public servant and takn plege to serve the country

by Indian on Dec 29, 2012 10:56 AM

I don't know how many Indians are feeling this amount of extreme grief and anger that I am feeling...

Now i see a rapist and murderer in each and every bus driver I see...

the most handicap.. feeling is coming from the fact that punishment has not been given yet to those criminals....

Pls sooth our hearts by at least giving the news that they are being given 3rd degree everyday.... pls

All corrupt policemen and politicians are responsible for this!
by Mayur Shukla on Dec 29, 2012 09:58 AM

Corrupt politicians and corrupt policmen are responsible for acts like this. These corrupt people will not take it seriously until few corrupt pepple like them are killed. Enough of peaceful protests like Ana Hazare, we need to wipe out these corrupt people, no matter whatwr have to do.
