Vajpyee did nothing for India!!! Other than Kargil war, surrendring terrorists to Taliban, Bamian Budhha, Attack on parliment, 2 trips to Pakistan, praising Jinnah, Kashmir burning, problems in North East, 2002 gujarat riots, Orissa riots, karnataka riots!!!
I cannot remember anything good about Vajpayee rule!!

what do u mean by other than going nuclear, kargil he did not do anything? did you know about the war? did you know about the sanctions? did you know about the coalition compulsions that were overcome? Perception of the world towards india changed after his tenure. He is the best PM india had but then sadly BJP did not concentrate much on subsidies for poors (And then there was modi too)and he lost gracefully

Qualities of Vajpayee: 1. Vajpayee had a stammering toungue. 2. Modi and even Advani never listened to his advise. 3. Never bothered to assess the intelligence on the attack on parliament and Kargil. 4. Vajpayee played in the hands of Mushraraf's nefarious designs. 5. Vajpayee projected as the best PM of India, but whole India did not vote him back to power again.

stammering? dude he had a vily tongue that shut even modi and advani up.when did modi defy? yes he built concenses. how is that a negative? india need people who take the country along? if not then we need modi as the alternative.
kargil was an opportunity..yes sadly solders died but look where is pakistan and where is india now..if you read history it was indopak like afpak now..kargil and going nuclear changed it all..and look where is mush too..as told he lost cause of modi and not doing enough for rural folks (same like chandrababu naidu)

That does not make any difference. India is a free country, besides, a persons thinking cannot be controlled. So, you have the right to feel the way you do. Reality may be totally different.

Get your facts right. I have seen parts of the golden quadrilateral being built and opened to public during his tenure as PM. Even today, if you look at statistics you will see that highways were built at the fastest pace during his tenure. B C Khanduri is till today the best Road transport minister India has ever had.

He was on par with the early independent India's leaders. A statesman and a patriot, he was an Indian on foreign shores, never criticized his political opponents when he was abroad, spoke about India and Indians as a whole. Back home, he was a graceful politician, his criticisms of his opponents were on issues rather than on personalities. He was the only reason that non Congress political parties like the TDP & DMK supported the BJP. A pity that he is not able to take active part in politics anymore. May he have good health.
