Govt has shut 9 metro stations(7 y'day,9 today).How diff is this from road rokos and othr transport hurdles caused by political parties? If any Non-Congress party does this,Media will report-Man who missed Job intrvw,Man who missed flight,people facing hardship etc,attack on fundamental rights of citizen etc, due to transportation shutdown.What prevents 'free media in India' from drawing parallels with China in 1989.There the students faced TANKS,here they faced RIOT POLICE,RAF armoured VAJRA's and the like.But no channel will have a debate on this,because we are now a Phoney(Phonia) country.Look at the Italians who shot 2 Indians like dogs-They are in Italy celebrating X'mas.The cental govt(under whose pressure?) did not object when the HighCourt asked if they were a flight risk.We have a similar case 14 yrs earlier when French citizens fled.
the Electronic Media has been telecasting live coverage of the agitation at Vijay Chowk, India gate etc. How can such a coverage incite violence? Yes, it does show up the brutal action of the Police on peaceful demonstrating young students. The violence has been on the part of the Police, of course on the orders of the Commr.Neeraj Kumar who himself could not have ordered such a violent action without Home Minister Shinde's (An ex Sub Inspector himself) orders. Shinde must be thrown out. He is a spineless moron who must have taken orders from Sonia Gandhi or the upstart Rahul Baba
Sushma swaraj asked for special parliamentary session which is valid demand but congress rejected it, even when there is no Vote bank politics here, even then congress rejected this demand of BJP which would have proved to be good for making law against rape stricter.
