First the religious minorities should be given reservation in jobs and then only question of promotional reservation for the reserved categories should be taken up. Otherwise it looks like it is only a fight among the well fed as to who will get fatter.

What about other "minorities" - un-religious, non-religious, anti-religious, agnostic, and atheist? They should also get "quota"!

Only one copy was sanctified with bell, book and candle, and by sprinkling "secular" holy water on it. (You know who did that!) Yashveer Singh is going to be arrested and prosecuted for blasphemy and for hurting the religious sentiments of the secularists. He may face the death sentence.
Only those who have been deprived of education and are less fortunate or who have financial stringency or in broader term are poor sud be given reservation..enough of caste based division...Again according to MMS and his party India has become economically strong and robust and also all those getting reservation on the basis of caste have also become economically strong hence one criteria i.e. economic backwardness sud be there which wud include all including Muslims, Brahmins, OBC, SC ST etc. in JObs whether at the inception or promotion. ONly the greed and ploy of making people a vote bank is the motivating force for such kind of proposals.
Politician are the actual people who divide this nation. A very little percentage of backward caste gets any benefit from reservations every year, while millions and millions still remain financially and socially deprived. Reservation is only a vote bank politics that cannot resolve caste issues.
India needs a country wide system to support, educate and train socially deprived caste and poor people so they can make their life better in any field by their competence.
