If Sons of the Soils are to be protected, the only way we have as per the Constitution allowed, there are Employement Exchances in every state where unemployed youths are registered and only thing the State Government is to do is strict orders passed that all the appointments should be routed through these employement exchanges only. If Governments of the land could have impelemnted this policy, this types of militant and unconstitutional organisation will never comes into any part of our country. But again, this happened and is happening in the country, because of Congress Party's bad and blunder mistakes they are continuing for keeping their ruling party chairs in the state and centre. We however hopes that better sense prevails in the Maharahstra Congress and NCP Government and they will defuse the situation and clear the ground immediately. If Shiv Sena wants to make a statue or memorial let them construct it in Matoshree or Indu Mill or any other property they have got it, but why should public places to be permitted for Statues or Memorail of anyone.
First of all, Govt. of Maharashtra and BMC did a blunder mistake by allowing creamafion at Shivaji Park. It is the greatest mistake the Congress NCP Government done without taking into account its far reaching consequences. Why Shivaji Park transformed into a creamation ground and if so, whether Govt. of Maharashtra change Shivaji Park into Public Cremation Ground where dead bodies will be brought and cremate in open ground? This is a serious crime Govt. of Maharashtra done and they will have to explain it to the citizen of this country and face the consquences of such crime they did on public face. Now they are unable to remove or clear the ground and fresh arguments and demands are coming from the militant organization who have no respects of Marathi people or the law of the land excecpt that of creating division and fear psychosis in the city and doing their extortion business thereby continuing certain corrupted elements business establishements working going on in the state. Actually, this militant organization created by Congress Party and they have to face the consequences including the people of Mahrashtra who directly or indirectly involved the black mailing these parties done to the people of Maharshtra. These militant organizations born in Maharshtra in the name of protecting sons of the soil and we want to ask these parties, but alas, in the process, their leaders kith and kins properites and assets increased, the sons of soils issue could not addressed properly.
We used Shivaji Park for playing games , march past by Scouts & Guides RSP & NCC cadets, Gymnastics, Cricket matches, and Parades for National Days, Long before the Sena was even thought of! It does not need to have a new name!
If sena's overstretching plans are allowed, all important Public places in India will be overcrowded with statues of local demised leaders even to shame the burial grounds on the sides of crowded roads! Thackery's statue may be placed inside his own citadel; not outside. His contribution to Indian democratic system is hardly of any significance! Govt should take a stern step on the issue!
All things going in Mumbai are disgusting. These people do not really love Bal Thackray but like to make political issue of his death. It is because these guys have been asked to remove Bal Thackray's smarak from Shivaji Park. If these guys are successful in changing the name of Shivaji Park to Shivtirth, then they will never get rid of smarak. I am not sure how they allowed Shivaji Park to perform his last rights. All Shivsainiks after Thackray are useless and just want to make use of Balasaheb's good name and position.

not defiling the city landmarks by naming them after the the Gaaaaandu family. In Hyderabad, every lanmark has been usurped by the Gaaaaandu family. We have Rajiv Gaaandu Airport, Rajiv Gaaandu Cricket stadium ... wonder when he played cricket etc. etc. And bandits and bandicoots led by YSR have made the once prosperous city of Hyderabad into a stinkhole.

What about Rajiv Gandhi's statue in Andaman , what is his contribution there. The real hero of Andaman is Veer Savarkar.
