Re: Time for some Assamese medicine
by PK on Aug 23, 2012 07:01 AM
Can the rest of India adopt it? I doubt it. Assam is used to these people, and can easily distinguish their dialects. Rest of India will struggle identifying who is a Bdeshi on basis of language.

Sylhet and Mymensingh - two Bdeshi dialects that are tell-tale signs of where these people are from. These languages were unheard of in Assam but you can hear it almost everywhere now. Shocking to hear them, but also makes it easier to identify and boycott them.

The weakness of nonviolent methods is that they leave the people prone to violence, instigated by those who want a quick demonstration of their blackmailing power.

Resistance to theuse of violence is more important than immediate success of nnviolence. Also the imagination has to be used to design the nonviolent methods, to motivate the target people without causing lasting hurt, that is to leave them some options about how to get out of the problems caused for them by the protesters.

Who allows this guy to write?
All employers who have suffered due to this exodus should make sure that no Bangladeshi is employed to fill the vacancy.
All this managed migration for money and vote bank will stop and original Indians can go about their life with peace.

Sources said days before the exodus from Bangalore began, rabid SMSs about killing of four persons from the north-east and a fatwa being issued against people from the region started doing the rounds. These messages are suspected to have been spread by right-wing groups too.

We should take a look at the other side of the coin too.

Partition was made and used by the Indian upper classes without taking into account the interests of the lower class people. All the thoughts about communal interest are also strictly an upper class phenomenon. The poorest of the poor have little knowledge and have little actual interest in those ideas. They are merely used by the upper class people as a sort of exploitation for upper class politics.

Therefore why should the lower classes feel bound by its consequences, and therefore why should they not continue to treat it as undivided India ?

Too late to send them now
by PK on Aug 23, 2012 01:13 AM  | Hide replies

These illegal foreigners of course started from late 60's and 70's (when muz Pak army started humping the muz Banglas) and now have had about 2 generations to follow them, not to add the millions who joined them interim. Its too late to put them on top of buses and trucks and send them back now. So technically you are right, because the generations born on Indian soil will claim they are Indian citizens. Just because they couldnt deport the earliest illegal immigrants, now everybody after gets the benefit of calling themselves 'Indian citizens'.

That explains why they are in a hurry to reproduce indiscriminately. Brilliant plan, you must admit and the brilliance of it is that IT IS WORKING!!

Not all Muslims living in Assam are Bangladeshis! The govt can still identify the illegal Bangla immigrants and send them back to Bangladesh. But that isn't happening.Under the pretext of sending the Bangladeshis back, the concerned people are troubling all the muslims in Assam.

You can take it up on your own. Assamese people demand is to deport all Sylhet and Mymensinghi Bdeshi muz from Assam.

Even indigenous Assamese muslims who have lived here for centuries in peace want to get rid of these Bdeshi pests. It is a matter of survival now.

2014 POLLS STRATEGY
by Arun Kumar on Aug 22, 2012 11:54 PM

As long as BJP is asking PM to resign, Congress can not change MMS and appoint Rahul or Sonia as PM.
BJP knows this, thats why they continue to repeat the same demand.
BJP wants to keep the issue in limelight until 2014 polls.
Remember that allegations against a sitting Prime Minister is the strongest weapon any opposition parties can ever hope to have.
SINGLE POINT FOR 1989 POLLS: PRIME MINISTER RAJEEV IS CORRUPT
SINGLE POINT FOR 2014 POLLS: PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN IS CORRUPT
