Thank you rediff for making it a head line...we need more attention for such behaviours and culprits severaly punished and need to start a process to avoid such situation in future.
It is time we should put these news items all over the international media, like CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC etc. When the whole world know how parents beat to death their own children in India and how Indian government (laws) don't care about it, perhaps then the government will learn the lesson. So, lets all people, whoa re reading this, send the news item to yoru friend journalists and foreign media; you can contact them by emailing.
This is the perfect example of mockery of justice in India. When a doctor determines that the injuries to the child were caused by external facts, possibly by human, what could stop the police to arrest the parents? It is clear that he was being severely battered by someone close to him. Who could be other than the parents? They have not arrested the parents. It shows the level of justice common people get from the police. If this happened in any developed countries the parents would have received 20 years for each count of abuse, that is, if there were 10 incidents of abuses they would have received 200 years of jail (e.g. in USA). Where are Indian living? If don't respect us who will do that?

You have seen and heard nothing yet, Com to the west and you will See,Read and here plenty of such incidents here in UK. Baby and child abuse is a major problem and issue in the west. it is not only confined to the east.
