xcept Assam and some parts of Manipur, NE states are dominated by rich and Peace loving Christians (90-100% in Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya), Tripura Tribal Belt, Arunachal Pradesh etc. are also having majority in Chritainity..Even 60% Bodos are Christians, Santhals/Tea Tribes all.of Assam..are following Christians.. Assam (40-50%) and large chunk of migrant Nepalese of Dual Citizenship (Nepal India) are the Hindus..
LET CHRISTAINITY BLOSSOMS IN ASSAM TOO..ALL PROBLEMS WILL VANISH..NE WILL GET HELP FROM POWERFUL US AND EU..THSI IS THE PRACTICAL SOLUTION TO THE INFILTRATIONS..LET THEM ALSO EMBRACE CHRISTAINITY..JESUS WILL GIVE SALVATION

NE states have a separate law in force by which a Complaining Person against any Illegal Migrant has to prove his case & not the Illegal Migrant. This was probably implemented to enhance Illegal Migrations to suppress local party & benefit Cong, (which had no support in the state). But this is the major cause of present status of the state. Cong keeps an eye on short term benefits, which in turn harm our nation in the long term. (This has been repeated in many states to uproot Non-Cong Govts - refer the history)

Our NE brothers & sisters have moved out from their home in search greener pastures (Education, Health, Job opportunities etc.). I don't think anyone has the right to stop Indians from going within the country either for work or education or for whatever unless it hampers the security of the country. How narrow minded can the so called "Highly Educated, Intellectual, Open minded what not..." city dwellers can get to. I have quite a few friends who hail from NE, have actually learnt the local language and do live with the same sentiment as though they were born and grew-up here. There are black sheep everywhere.
Its time India goes USSR way and divides herself into various nations to prevent any further diaster. Even though Arabs follow a very similar culture and customs, speak the same language, follow the same religion, they are divided into 10-12 countries. Even within a country, the govt at Dubai and govt at Abu Dhabi dont function together for the welfare of the nation, except for defence.
What is the similarity between a kashmiri Muslim and Tamil Brahmin? Or what is common between a NE christian and Mumbai Moslem? Post 1992, was it possible to have a single govt gaining majority at the lok sabha. Going forward, does anyone think, we could have a single party ruling our country in future. UPA is nothing but a conglomeration of 12 to 15 parties, with none of them having any clearcut idealogy. Same with NDA. All these election manifesto have gone for a toss at the national level.
Dear fran, the chaos in ASSAM mainly in BTAD is because they the BODOS want a separate state ..these things are happening only to clear up other people who are living in their tertiary..bodos are not only against the bengali muslims but also bengali hindus and assamese people...everyone is suffering here from bodos..so making this violence as communal riot is extremely childish..

actually muslim don't like to work. They look for easy money provided from gulf modules, madrassa, govt, etc. Have u seen them doing any work. Just lie table at road side for free with shoe, articles, butcher etc. They don't like to serve gulf as they feel they would be slave in gulf as the freedom they enjoy here in doing criminal activities. In gulf for stealing the hands are cut off, any bad activity hear chopped off. If India had same strict law that to UAE, they would have preferred to serve UAE, but the criminal activity enjoyment they get in India burning houses, looting,grabing, threatening others for lives can't get in UAE.
This is a pity on the Govts. Shame. Indians are not safe because of some external matters? Any body indulging in crime against NE students should be mercileesly punished.
