If we just eat and sleep and spend our lives on ourselves and die one day,there remains no difference between us and animals.But this kind of work which brings happiness to the lives of other human beings transforms us to really human beings and we fulfill the responsibility of a human being.
In today's fast,tough and materialistic world,most people pass their lives on routine things and when the realisation comes,it is already too late to start something.
Therefore,a man like Rodricks is an inspiration for all right thinking responsible people.I just hope that the almighty gives you all the power and all the resources to bring smiles and improve the quality of life of disabled humanity...keep up the great work !
Bhagyam says "Ferdinand is an angel" NO he is something more. If any other person had designed such a feature for any Car (for those who cant go without such a feature) they would have made millions. Why cant our Govt waive off all the Taxes for Cars delivered/meant for disabled people, so that they can attend their jobs independently, without others support. Govt can even think of giving fuel to them at subsidised rates also because not all the disabled people are rich enough to buy Carts & also fuel. But in our great Country, there are vultures who will rob such subsidies meant for the disabled. I feel Ferdinand should try to patent his product & try to sell it to German, US & Japanese Car manufacturers and with the profits earned from them, he can easily give the attachment free to all Physically disabled Indians. Mr. Nadar, it is very good that you have given Mr. Ferdinand's Tel NO. for the benefit of others who may need. But I am afraid it would have been better if you have given the email ID instead. Because, I am sure, now his phone NO will be flooded with calls not just from Physically disabled but also those who want to congratulate him (which he certainly deserves by all means) on his achievement. And he may even be forced to disconnect or change his phone number. Let our aid should be to reach it to all the disabled. Pl provide your email ID Mr. Rodricks.
