The Sikh community just like other Indians are seen as responsible and trustworthy people. They even get security jobs at European and US airports. Rediff remove these from front page for national interest.

What a shame that Shame that some americans and white skinned westerners still think that Sikhs are jehadi muslims and it is the responsibility of sikhs all over the world and indian government to make clear to whoile world that sikhs are NOT mulsims or jehaddis and that the sikhs have fought the desert muzzie cult for past 500 years or many decades.The reason for the hate against the sikhs is because of the above mis-conception and it is time for indian government and even hindus to educate the world about the brave warrior religion or sikkhism which is an offshoot of hinduism and in northern states many hindu families make one member of the family as sikh as honour for the above religion too. All must condole the sad killings of innocent brothers and sisters in a senseless shooting in america too

Look at the pic on page 2. The way the person is holding the sword is enough to scare the American public, for whom everyone with a turban is a Taliban.
Why couldn't a more peaceful protest be organised?

Rajwant is correct. He is not aware in India champion of every religion and political parties maintain gangs of such goons , who are brought on street to gain publicity through media, they are on hourly paid service.
