UGC GUIDELINES IN RECRUITMENT OF FACULTIES FOR RESEARCH ......
by MM Gupta on Apr 30, 2012 08:59 PM

Research institutes are 'overdone ' to affect certain students!
A student who was recruited for Ph.D through all indian examination/interview , underwent a regular couse work under a nominated guide , obtained Ph.D alongwith publication of papers in international journals of repute, is EXEMPTED from NET/SLET etc which are meant for M.Sc students with 55% marks for appearing in NET/SLET etc. exams .
Its not understood why that student is set aside on account of less than 55% marks in M.Sc ,which should have been seen while selecting him for Ph.D course at the outset.
IS HIS MEDRIT AND CALIBRE BE BOGGED DOWN BY THE 55% MARKS ONLY ?
And that too was VINDICTIVELY DONE BY TWO CPM PROFESSORS WHO COULD NOT TOLERATE ANY STUDENT OPPOSING CPM ? IT IS A CASE OF RAJABAZAR SCIENCE COLLEGE IN KOLKATA,
UGC directives dont debar him but the ADs specify 55% marks in M.Sc which is religiously scrutinised by clerks and the student suffers .He does not get a cal for interview though he carried on research and published more than 12 papers in international journals !There are quite a number of faculty recruitments with les than 12 papers !
INJUSTICE/TORTURE ARE QUITE UNBEARABLE FOR SOME WHO WANTS TO REMAIN HONEST AND TRUTHFUL!
These laws passed wont be any helpful FOR THOSE WHO ARE PINPOINTEDLY TORTURED!
