Sonia beloved Mr Q, known to have been paid off at the heart of the scandal went missing. The assignation some say of Rajiv maybe at the hands of Mrs. Gandhi. It one of those things the public cannot let go an unsolved mystery of Gandhi named mired in scandal and coverup that this no one is caught only people in country with that kind of power to hush-up a major scam..
Poor Rajiv he is so innocent according to Mr. Ninan. I admire Mr. Ninan for his excellent writing skills. But Sir, for the success (or failure) of every man there is always a woman behind him. Soniaji did everything and with "Q". If Soniaji and "Q" have a 'conscience' and if that 'speaks out', the truth of Bofors can still come out. The word bribe has so many synonyms (not given in a dictionary) that Mr. Ninanj could write a sweet article in praise of Rajiv. But what about the woman behind him?

Bofors was the turning point in corruption in that it was the starting point of public anger against corruption. It was not that there was no corruption earlier. The Govt used all its might to ensure that the investigations came to a big zero. That does not mean that there was no corruption. The biggest question is why Q received the money when he had nothing to do with either Bofors or the Bofors deal with India. It does not matter what the amount involved was, it is important that even after 25 years, if possible, the culprits must be brought to book.

What is the columnist trying to say? If Lindstorm is saying nothing new, why did successive governments not act when they ought to have acted? What was the message conveyed thru M Solanki who was on trip to Switzerland? Why did Bharadwaj do by accompanying CBI officials abroad in c/w the case against Q?

Book the culprits at any cost & push the India 50 years back again.Who has time may do dit the ghost, but India has no time to look back as everything is over. Only learn the lesson & move ahead India.

Then first political murder of India,Then Railway minister of Indira Gandhi cabinet,LN Mishra was murdered in the bomb blast,1973 at Samastipur Railway station in Bihar.Then case is still languishing in the trial courts in Bihar.
