WTF - this country is not suffering bcos one Gandhi but because of the many many splits we as people of India have in our mind.
We were so divided as people based on language, caste, region ruled by kings and Moghuls conquered us.
Later moghuls added another religion (Islam) to this hungama and we were slaves of British.
Now British added another layer to this (Christianity) and we fight / ponder still on the very same issues - religion, caste, language, region.

Mr. Patriot, Why we blame Gandhi???? One chance after a slavery of 1000 years was lost becuase of impractical approcah of Gandhi. Mr. MK Gandhi could not even prevent partition of India. In addition MK Gandhi imposed Jawaharlal Nehru on us, for which 120 billion people are still suffering. India where all foreign relegion like christians and Zorastrians were living peacefully has been destroyed in the name of secularism.

It was auctioned by a private person and it happened in England. Where did Govt Of India try to auction it. I do agree Govt Of India should have recovered the artifact.

actually that is not possible - our politicians can NEVER auction the whole country - WHY - because we are divided and cannot call ourself as ONE NATION.
They have sell / auction separately at State level...no one can sell/auction it as a whole commodity.
Are you convinced that your sincereity and devotion towards a leader is WASTED? Like you many many persons , mostly dead now, are betrayed on account of 'Gandhiism' WISE MEN KNEW- Gandhi is a man of duplicity BUT SINCE THEY WERE FEW IN NUMBER, THEIR WORDS FELL ON DEAF EARS! This congress(meaning nehrooooo) used Gandhi as a platform
Congress and Govt in power have sold and re-sold Gandhism n-number of times since Gandhi was alive. Now his lifeless but priceless articles are being sold which might change life of at least someone ! Why so much fuss now. Nobody is going to listen to your voice in this crowed !! Do they have TIME for YOU ?
