The armed forces are the true heroes of the nation. I was in the IAF and the training standars are very high as compared to the civilians. My only regret leaving at an early age. Compared to the IAS who are the source of the corruption, the defence is the least corrupted.

ur list is incomplete without the below names : digvijay,chidambaram,pranab,kalmadi,AKraja,sheila dixit....
An honest admission by a living legend should act as an eye-opener ( for many gullible indian voters who more often than not rise to con-gressi bait) that it's BJP not crooked con-gress who works for the overall betterment of the masses. How horrid and shameful it's to know that con-gress in spite of being in power for over 50 years did nothing noteworthy to properly weaponize our army men for high altitude combating. It's only weeping crocodile tears.

I can't say fairer than this. Actually, the society is now more attuned to consumerism than identifying real Heros/issues. All seem to be running after tinsel town's ham actors or rubbish cricketers. It's in a way most unfortunate.

Your maid must be a very good mother and a good worker, agreed. But don't compare her working conditions and the danger faced by the great soldier. My post is not against females by the by.

is ur mail servant willing to lay down her life for you. ask her ... for the slaary you are giving , i bet she would even shed a nail for you in danger. whereas the GUY In the article is willing to lay down his life not for him , not for his family but for his country but for ungrateful people like you and me. so before saying anyhting please .. please mind ur words atleast to the people who have fought for the country
