Rahul lacks the political acumen, but is he really that bad a person? I think we should support our young politicians - even if they make a few mistakes.

Whether Rahul is good or bad is not important. He simply cannot deliver. The farmers that he spent time with were told he could not convince the govt about the changes reqd for lan acquisition. That speaks volumes. He is not the main spokesperson for the Congress. He is not a member of any parl.sub-committee. He is not the chief whip of the Congress in Lok Sabha. Leave alone being a minister, he is not authorised to speak to the press. Then in which way he is qualified? Just because he has a Gandhi surname. He is not fit to the leader of this country. From Nehru to Rahul the standards of caliber have dropped drastically. So the only thing that can bring some respect is the Gandhi surname. He is a dnagerous person and should be rejected outright.

Yes, we should support young politicians as much as possible. I would suggest starting with the MATERNITY WARD!!

Support cannot be on the basis of being young. He should be capable and intelligent too. After all you cannot risk the country just to support a young, immature, incapable person.

Absolutely. This has nothing to do with him being bad or good. Just a question about being capable enough to be nominated the next leader.

Infact Varun Gandhi is a much better and capable young politician than Rahul. Atleast he has the guts to take stand on important issues. Rahul avoids such issues.

there are many young MLAs and MPs, not necessarily from your dynasties.. support them, not this 42 year old youth.
Rahul will visit Pak and barge into the caves of the Talibanis and share the cooked gosht to prove his secular credentials. And the paid media will hail him 24X7 as the ultimate secular youth icon to lead India.

Media headlines would be "Gen-Next: Rahul chatted with a young upcoming Talibani". And Congress paid armchair experts will flower praises on Amul's capabilities.
