That Ship Would Cost Atleast 1 Million dollars!!
by MISSIONARY on Apr 07, 2012 03:12 PM

Instead of sinking it, they should have returned it to Japan or to some poor country.

How far was it from the cost?
by J ADITYA on Apr 07, 2012 01:20 PM  | Hide replies

How far was it from the cost? Was sinking the only option? Obviously I am not qualified to make a judgement but curious to know the decision making.

it was in water, in India it would have floated for many decades before drowning or sinking,

ships sunk
by KAROLSON THOMAS on Apr 06, 2012 02:35 PM  | Hide replies

there have been few ships sunk i think near australia coast(north) to create adventure places for divers and for flora and fauna to grow. Our govt has been sitting on the Vikrant for the past almost 20? years not able to convert it into a museum. I wish it be planted somewhere in the sea like a middle-of-the-sea airbase

A 'Middle-of-the-sea airbase'! Wow, that is a superb idea my friend. That is really worth considering.

Why
by Frodo Baggins on Apr 06, 2012 02:11 PM  | Hide replies

Why burn a ship before sinking it ? anyway it is going to lie peacefully on the seabed

They got to burn because any fuel or chemical in the vessel wil be harmful. Or you can say it got proper cremation :)
