One wonder which parallel universe is inhabited by Indian chattering class, especially media, politicians and commentators? One can’t imagine in any other decent democracy a scam totalling tens of billions being committed by ministers and government staying in power. It seems the concept of collective cabinet responsibility has not reached Indian government, politicians more seriously its media, the latter become more corrupt with every passing day. Chidambram should not be resigning, he should be sacked and role of PMO and other power centre should be investigated. This PM and his cabinet put in charge have betrayed trusted upon them the nation, and instead have presided over the largest robbery. They deserved to be sacked, investiagted and prosecuted no matter how high and mighty they may be. That is genuine democracy not mere counting of vote.

Even if PM, his FM and cabinet ministers are convicted of corruption, they can be sent to jail but there is no law in the constitution to remove them from being MP of the house. They will continue to retain power and continue to loot.
All politician knows this so they continue to indulge in corruption without any fear. This is the reason why politicians are against Jan Lokpal and right to recall laWs.

As per Indian Law, everyone is suspect unless proved AND no one can be punished unless proved beyond doubt about the crime. FURTHER, AS PER INDIAN CONSTITUTION OR IPC, HUNDRED CRIMINALS CAN ESCAPE BUT ONE INNOCENT PERSON SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED. I think Chidambaram and/or his Wife are qualified Lawyers & must be knowing this fundamental principle. SO WHY IS CHIDAMBARAM, MMS ETC., ARE SCARED OF CHIDU SUMMONED TO COURT? WHAT IS ANYONE'S PROBLEM (INVOLVEMENT IN 2G)? ONLY COURTS WILL TELL WHEN ALL THESE PEOPLE ATTEND COURTS.

It is very clear that Chidu and Manmohan have their share in the 2G cake of 1.76 lac crore, Perhaps MMS got his share and trfd to Sonia , Robert Vadra and the family members, It is better a Supreme Court sitting judge is appointed to investigate the scandal more with ref. to Manmohan's involvement

mr.Pillai, pl do not think good of chidambaram who is no 1 fraud .He got elected by fradulant method as he lost in MP election in sivagangai by 1300 votes by which time congress was in celebration mood as they won throughtout india.so chrsitan CEC MR. Navin chowala called Election commission officer and asked him to announce chidambaras as winner.
