Patel is no Modi and vice versa! The scenario then and today is different. Except for the fact that Hyderabad would have been a'foreign land' in the heart of India was not allowed to happen by Patel. Else, it would have become yet another Kashmir, for China,USA and, ofcourse, Pakistan to meddle into India's internal affairs. Modi's stewardship has made Gujrat an ideal state second to none! Both are supreme in their respective domains!
