Greater India should raise POK and Tibet with China
by milind b on Sep 24, 2011 11:34 AM

Tibet was historically and is a neutral piece of land between India and China.
Infact India has greater and rightful claim to have an Autonmous Tibet as a part of Greater India . Tibet houses LORD SHIVA the supreme lord of Hindus and nothing can be more insulting to see that Tibet is part of Communist and atheist China.
China also keeps on building in POK , which is again part of India.
China wants to encircle India by string of pearls strategy.
China will loose if it would provoke India , as India is a democracy and enjoys support of West and Japan

Tibet ?

And when did china had a historical control over tibet ? It is hollow. It is politics as usual. China might very well know that it has to limit barking, otherwise it is going to get into real trouble in the long run. For others though, it will be a catch up act.

Please go and check Tenzin Gyatso
how he was selected as a rural kid from Tsing Hai province to be 14th Dalai lama in 1940 and how he marched from Tsing Hai to Lhasa under the special envoy of Chiang kai-shek (President of Republic of China) who later announced central government's appointment of 14th Dalai Lama to local tibet's hierarchy. Before 14th Dalai Lama, there were 13 consecutive Dalai lamas nominated by Chinese central governments. I do not deny a close cultural link between Tibetans and Nepalis or Indians, but if India thinks a remote bordering province like Tibet (5000 km away from Beijing) can be a reason for India to gain something, then China has thousands of reasons to involve from Kashmir to UP, from Sikkim to Assam, and take Arunachal back. 40 Years ago, India incited rebels in Tibet, now India is coming up to South China Sea, well let's see how this challenge will move on. ONGC should be careful of its US$ 250 mio investment in Viet Nam, and its cable may be cut by Chinese army.

if china wants india to stop exploring south china sea then chinks will have to get out of PoK and Indian Ocean, and stop its activities at Gwadar port and hambantota ports or else it will face the same severe consequences of infringement of sovereinty.
If revival of Han dynastys borders is on chinese agenda then indian will have to revive its agenda of retrieving borders drawn during the mouryan dynasty (one of the largest kingdoms in the history, extending from persia to south china and entire southeast asia).

Legal opinion to be obtained
by KARTIC KRISHNAN on Sep 20, 2011 06:49 AM

India should get a legal opinion from the international lawyers at the UN. Meanwhile it can claim tit for tat with regard to Chinas exploraton in the Indian ocean.

China's so-called Sovereignty

It would be nice to see the comments of the Indian Communists in this matter. They are sure to argue in favour of their Chinese Communist brothers.
