The Israeli-Palestine issue is no doubt a double edged sword. While on the one hand by supporting it we invoke the wrath of the US and ruin our aspirations for a UNSC berth, by not supporting it, we invoke the wrath of the Muslim world, and ofcourse India's own ever demanding Muslim minority, endangering our economic relations & ex-pats in the ME.
The greatest irony is we Indians (starting with the STUPID Gandhi & Nehrus to naive ManMohan Singh) have brought this upon ourselves by not trying to be even handed, and also holding our ground in line with the desires of the majority Hindus etc.(except Muslims) who overwhelmingly support the Jewish nation.
As a result, even as Muslim nations such as Turkey had established cordial relations with Israel, until recently India did not have the SPINE to establish even full fledged diplomatic relations with the valiant Jewish nation. And, even as we don’t care two hoots about our own internally displaced Kashmiri Pandits (victims of ethnic cleansing, living in squalid refugee camps near Jammu), we shed rivers of tears in favor of the non-existent Palestinian people (who are originally Jordanians) whose only plan is to exterminate Israel.
It’s high time India changes course, by at the least, abstaining from this crucial vote.
We Indians need to learn to hold our heads high and act in line with our national mood...until then no one in the world will respect us, NOT even the Arabs!

His sla0ve mentality to G0nddi dyn0sty, his govt's many many scams and l00ting of p00r citizens, the way he arrested a peaceful Anna etc makes him a pitiable figure in any international meets. Wear a Burqa , Singh..
This turbaned fool should stay back in India and stop wasting the funds of the people, what has he achieved in all his previous visits and what will he achieve now? Even Obama is not attending, he is smarter..

Obama is in his own crisis. Indians are no Losers, in this Global world we have gained the pace of growth which is next to none....no credit to Indian Politicians though, it is all to the Private sector which has capitalised on these opportunities
Obama can not be seen to be supporting the PM of one of the most undemocratic and worlds most corrupt nation linked to Al Qaeda and ISI through Sonias Coatrie. USA knows the Dawood links with Hasan Ali, Ahmad Patel and Khurseed being close to SIMI and IM
