modi is man of faith and integrity.... modi is just like emperor saladin of middle ages
saladin too was like ascetic and devout muslimmm... he was a great administrator like modi. just like modi, he slaughtered crusaders who came on his way, but pardoned those who became his subjects.
Rediff has presented a new dimension of Mr Modi. Thats all his religious preferences. But nothing should come in the way of governance of the state following the Indian constitutional laws and soverignity. If that is ensured, rest all makes for an interesting sidelines read on the important BJP leader.
Not guilty till proven !! I don't think it would have been possible for him to be out of jail under congress rule if he really made mistake. Congress trys to brand RSS as terrorist organization. Most of the people can not even tell what RSS has done wrong which any other organization of same size has not done. Congress will do anyting in it's power to malign any strong opposition leader.
One sided Fasting will not help as the propoents of two nation theory still wants to live as a separate nation within the Republic.
It will be historic if a Muslim leader fasts appealing to Hindus to bury the hatchet of Godhra burnibg that sparked communal violence. Good leaders can correct way ward followeers in all religions. Good that Modi taking out time to forge 'maitri' and it is an opportune time for Muslims to respond to it.
You did your best to project him as an embodiment of virtue and an extraordinary person. But no amount of eulogy or the court judgements can takeaway the fact of his incontrovertible complicity in the mass murder and mayhem of his hapless subjects. His blood stained hands will continue to hound him like Mrs. Macbeth.

Very true. Why not apply the same yard stick to the poor Sikhs as well. About 3000 of them were slaughtered. Unlike Gujarat cases are going on even in foreign countries-apparntly I presume because they felt that ends of justice will not be met here?

But if Modi is so good at fasting then why does he need an airconditioned center to display it. Same with Ramdev. It seems these types cannot do it Anna style. Better ask him to practice more.
