Will this Sen be criminally prosecuted and put in prison for his theft of public money? Or do our legislators think that justice is done by just his resignation?

In India, justice, law and constipation (oops, CONstitution) is applicable to only the poorest of the poor!!!!

Yes, That person must have been prosecuted in the court of law under SEction 420 of the IPC for cheating the Govt and swellingin the public money.
