War crimes and genocide in Kashmir by India ..........
by Judgement Day on Nov 04, 2011 03:17 AM  | Hide replies

Abviously army will be against the revocation of AFSPA, as such acts have saved them since last 20 years after raping innocents in Kashmir, after killing civilians in fake encounters, and custodial deaths. What could be a bigger shame for India that it has committed war crimes in Kashmir, there are 1000s of unmarked graves here, minors have been raped here since the 90s, and when people protest they are fired in the heads, not legs, SHAME INDIA SHAME. Whenever the AFSPA debate starts Army starts to hurl grenades in Kashmir.

PC backs Omar's stand on partial removal of AFSPA from Valley
by Sasidharan Nair on Nov 01, 2011 08:02 AM

PC's stand, perhaps, will be repeatition of same blunder in his decision to close the issue of 2G auction! The only difference is, this time it is the soverignity of the country to suffer! PC will, then, be got writ in our history as a traitor who caused our country to bow down in shame at last! Any decision on Kashmir should be taken in the larger interest of the country as a whole, not merely to satisfy the demands of separatist forces, inlcuding the present government there. If Mufti, Omar or any like minded few in Kashmir not satisfied, let them cross over to Pakistan and see what is in store for them there! Let them not harp separatist song any more in tune to Pakistan's design; at US dollars- flow via Pakistan too!

tourist haven needs complete return to normalcy
by Ramesh on Nov 01, 2011 07:32 AM

If anything would return of complete normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir it would be withdrawal of AFSPA. The recent reports on improved tourist traffic indicates that situation may have improved dramatically.

However, cross-border threats still loom large, and unless these threats are either dissolved or eliminated the risks remain, and can only aggravate if counter-measures like AFSPA are withdrawn.

pc should go on moun vrat
by vinay kamtikar on Oct 31, 2011 08:52 PM  | Hide replies

The congress should ask PC 2 go on moun vrat. PC has already landed ManMohan
Singh in trouble with comments on Telangana and Anna Hazare. Ghulam Nabi Azad is the wisest spokesperson in the congress and his handling of various issues has been great.
