If it was so simle that two students, may be undergraduate of an so called IIT (GANDHINAGAR? hahaha) can develop. Then JAPANESE would have done it 200 years before.
This is only media hype and REDIFF is good platform for such trash

I am a techie, but i am getting sick of hearing all these "yet to see light" projects hyped about in the press all the time. Look at this article...are the readers fools....

Sensors will be placed at Himanshu the site of epicentre..do you belive this...How do you know where the epicentre is going to be next time..cover the whole globe..?

Then electronic signal will be sent thru a server i believe...and save millions in 90 seconds...? Are you talking of computer server or hotel server....either one can NOT save or serve in 90 seconds....Booooooooooo

You are correct, early warning system that guves u hardly 90 secs to save ur life..haha only rajnikant can do this in his movies..ok Jokes apart there is no system developed ever which could warn anyone hours or atleast a day before the earthquake... thats why japenase are more concentrating on quake resistant infrastructure rather then developing early warning system...

Brought rains home. That was why.
And I seriously doubt what triggered that quake? Nuclear testing? I think so, yes. Because, when you notice Indian Geological System (based on GSI maps), our base rock is solid, with not many faults in this region. So, things have to be man-made for disasters to happen. Even tsunami (that his Bay of Bengal) couldn't cause a quake, if you noticed. Then their theory of boreholes was bogus, back then. That was why BJP was brought to power to disprove it, in the events that followed. Basically, like somebody already said, its better they symbolically eradicate coffee from the commodities and please increase my real estate value, so I can move out of a tiny-nosy and noisy apartment to an independent-less nosy and noisy bungalow. Please.
