Burma being a buddhist country,india should give a best shot in its own interest.Unlike islamic country in the east such as Malaysia and indonesia,Burma can be a better friend of india.

majority of indians in myanmar are from telugu community.govt should help them to gain citizenship and right to vote and get a decent life

They go in search of livelihood,not for begging,unlike the majority of the North indians.

However India should claim from the Myanmarese Govt the option of issuing Indian passports to those who want them and can pay. After all India has provided sanctuary to their political leaders when they needed

If they are farmers carrying on farming then they must be having some document of title to a piece of land however small so they are not stateless in a down to earth fashion even if they are unable to vote or join the military.They are free 2 that extent
