We need a memmorial
by Neha George on Nov 22, 2011 05:32 PM  | Hide replies

We indians name all the roads and nullahs for our politicians. Thers is no memorial like the vietnam or 9/11 one where it serves as a reminder and a place of discourse for the public to honor the fallen. in bangalore there is a war memorial and people like us do visit periodically and indians will show respect if it is errected

Agree. In Bangalore we have many roads named after Ex-Mayors and Corporators who have done nothing compared to the Englishmen who did so much for Bangalore's development. Our present Mayor cannot speak but went to US to participate in a Seminar.Another Ex Mayor created a big fuss because her name was not printed in the invitation for the inauguration of a toilet block!

How many balsts & deaths......
by SURESH BABU on Nov 22, 2011 05:00 PM

Does this Govt aware of the people died since 26/11.....
If the Govt ignores this serious issue without proper attention, then it will be difficult for anyone to control later.
They are pushing ahead to take the political mileage out of it, but its ruining our nation and her people.
If the Govt needs power by supporting those killers, then the majority of the people of this country will kick you out of power.

Forget an unsympathetic govt, why can't any of our many big industries as a part of their CSR program take care of Omble's family needs? This is the least expected of them.

the culprits are punished. our snailpace judiciary, obsolete penal code and thousands of loopholes have made india a safe haven for terrorists. look at afzal and ajmal. even if a judge gives the verdict of death sentence, the terrorists continue to enjoy the hospitality of indian govt. thanks to our president. y can someone just sit on her neck and make her refuse the clemency petition of these two at least, on priority?

This is India ruled by Congress.Poor Omble gave up his life unneccesarily just as our jawans are doing daily in Kashmir. Our judicial process is slow and even if the verdict is to hang these fellows, the govt will not do so for vote bank politics.
