narayan murthy's secularism challenge to mideast charities
by shilpy on Nov 11, 2011 12:09 PM

narayan murthy always brings in secularism even to the cause of charity for no obvious reason. is the old man trying to run for an office? over 99pct of nri contributors are jindus. why must he harp on his secular stuff for no reason at all? is he trying to tell the charities of mideast faiths to adopt a secular model too instead of seeking converts? if yes, i would applaud him.

good going ....but believe me ...money will never be able to feed hungry stomachs ....its the passion. .. there may be many people being fed by a poor family ...and none going to a landlord's house... what use is money if you have no heart to feed people ...i have innumerable times have seen ...i go to a lower middleclass friends home and they immediately call me for meals ...without a second thought in their mind...

and i go to a rich friends house...they talk hanky pankyy and try to push you off and then have their lunch or dinner.... man ...dont raise money ...raise awareness in people... we dont need charity..we need empathy.

if you don't waste your food, nature has given sufficient for everyone of us.... if only we don't waste anything

you don't have to give money and feel good ... try to experiment this. buy all essential stuff to feed 10 people ... on a weekend prepare cheap yet sumptuous food with your own hands ...and take it to a nearby orphanage or street kids and feed it to them and walk off ... you will not only feel doubly satisfied but down the lane something will change your own outlook towards this world and life at large

wrong use of english
by Aashish Pande on Nov 10, 2011 08:58 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Arthur J Pais i
it is incorrect to say return back, revert back and repeat again. All these are examples of redundancy in language. You have used "return back" in the first line Today, N R Narayana Murthy is a household name, but more than four decades ago he was just another commoner returning back to his roots in India after having worked in France for months.
Kindly correct it.
thanks

How much money will actually used for the children's benefit? Most of it would be grabbed by middle man.
