mumbai in west, delhi in north, kolkata in east, but in south chennai, bangalore, hydrabad.also if you see the distance between delhi mumbai kolkata is more than 1000kms.but if you see distance between south big cities 400-500only. which means that in smaller distance big cities. so,from above point we can know that south cities developed well.

Mumbai has more proximity to next in line cities Ahmedabad and Pune. They are only slightly smaller compared to Bangalore and Hyderabad but are major economic/industrial/commercial centers.

With its gushing number of settlers estimated almost almost 1000 per day as per the statistics of 1992 itself,Mumbai continues to be the most populated city of India rendering many of the poor such incomers settling in slum areas which,in turn, gives rise to the biggest slum area- Dharavi in the world. Despite such a dense & large population, the beauty of this great city lies in its retention of the unique culture it developed since beginning-especially in terms of the punctual & almost round the clock running of the suburban trains,BEST buses which mark its very life itself, work discipline, regularity in attendance in work places, traffic discipline & certainly comparatively a good law & order situation. The best part of the ever rising population of the city is that who ever enters it,within no time, adapts itself to the city\\\'s culture & proves as a typical Mumbite setting example to the future residents.Though,no doubt,at first, one who visits the city for the first time, gets aghast by seeing the teeming crowds every where only to get impressed & develop a liking for it later because of its unique & impressive life style turning even the most idle person into a workholic. We are yet to come across such a great city which levels all sorts of persons when they work together. Not only most populous,it is also the richest city in terms of wealth, work culture & values.Hats off to it.
