The act of Williams is comdemnable!all MNC do Bhumi pujan in India when they go for new venture!Results will prove what american think on the issue if it is any issue at all!Even in India orthodox communal elemnts attack Swami Agnivesh when he speaks his truth!Even Swami Dayanand started Arya Smaj when he founs a rat going all over Lord shiva's statue!so waht wrong did Swami agnivesh did !But hwere as in america it is not much publices on TV channels the Swami agniovesh issue was all over tV channels !In Gujarat he was also attacked!

Ground breaking ceremony by Hindus is done to invoke the supreme force to bestow prosperity, happiness and success to one's endeavours. Though there is a religious tinge in it, the ultimate purpose is welfare of all. Any similar practice in any other religion is also to be veiwed as such. Participation by other religious personalities only exhibits the broadminded approach and there is nothing inimical about it. Americans are known for their broad mindedness and understanding of other religions. Opposition to the Governor's participation by his political rival is to be seen as an electoral gimmick and perhaps borne out of intolerance, which is a negative human quality.
