too good sir. You were good in eliciting views of others, without giving anything of yours. Kudos. Kindly enlighten all of us with your views with facts and figures about requirement of Telangana, with no sentiment involved:)

AP is in existence since 1956 and any change to its existence (such as telangana separation) need justification and not for keeping AP as it is.

SAMAIKYANDHRA

Just logged in and watched posts. One thing as far as my understanding goes - The samaikyandhra slogan is nothing but status-quo. Why fuzz about it? right/wrong?

Neither. I do not own a house. Nor do I have special love or hatred for anyone. I do not support Telangana because I find no rational reason for granting Telangana. Also, the move by Telangana people to grab Hyderabad from the rest of the state smacks of greed.

I think everyone knows that Hyderabad and river waters are the bones of contention. So the question of people from the rest of the state "wanting" to stay with Telangana does not arise.

From business point of view, the taxes will be lower by almost 10% or more. that is in AP the vat is 12.5%, and CST is less than 2%, if you produce in T and sell in A :)

Ramana has at least understood the true nature of this struggle - politicians and student leaders promising moon and makign their careers. Did they care about farmers crops? No. Did they do anything when in power for their people? No. So why would a separate Telangana suddenly make them caring for people?
Osho, don't be like your namesake.

Well, going by the same logic that people need what they want, we can say that the status quo is best since the rest of AP wants a united state.

I think this question has already been answered above. Hyderabad and river waters are the main reasons. No non-Telangana person wants to live as second class citizens in Hyderabad.

I think you have missed the point. There is no guarantee of security for seemandhra people in a separate Telangana state. As for people being treated as second-class, your analysis is incorrect. Case in point - people from other religions in most Islamic countries are treated as second class.

I can say that you are from royal seema rather andhra region.May be islamic countries are like that but hindu majority countries like india never treats ppl like that. Can you please tell do u really feel like first class citizen in India...every minority ppl feels second class citizens deep down they feel second class but they dont show up to public.

I am not from Rayalaseema. As for your point about India not being same as Islamic countries - well, we never had problem with the Indian Union government anyway. It is because we have confidence in the center, that we do not mind Hyderabad becoming a union territory. But we only have problem with a telangana majority state. We have heard of slogans like "Andhrawale bhaago" and there is no way we can afford to take such anti-seemandhra sentiment lightly.

I don't see any logic in your statement. muslim will be in majority in telangana comparatively in united andhra.I knwo you guyz are afraid of BJP lead govt but if congress dont give telangana then we ppl vote for BJP.so, in directly we have to support BJP which you ppl dont like..BJP is no where in AP but congress may give chance to BJP to get roots in AP.Ultimately it hurts muslims.

In fact, It is you T people who need a good Andhra psychiatrist to overcome the inferiority complex within you. You always want reservations based on region when whole world has become competitive and global village. Looting theory is gone. No one will agree to it. Now your false agitation is for self rule and self respect. Go for voting in Hyderabad. We hyderabadis also want a seperate state if telangana is seperated. Will you agree?

ANOTHER TELANAGANA PARTY IS ALWAYS WELCOME, IN FACT ANY NUMBER OF POLITICAL PARTIES ARE WELCOME ON THE SCENE, PROVIDED THEY WANT restoration OF TELANGANA STATE.

A split is on the cards among those spearheading the movement for a separate Telangana. WHEN WERE THEY UNITED? Mr. VICKY ARE YOU IN HYDERABAD REPORTING FROM THE FIELD OR SITTING IN SOME “PATIS” CHAMBERS DOING “desktop” REPORTING WEAVING STORIES WITH FICTOUS CHARACTERS LIKE PRITVIRAJ? IF HE IS A REAL PERSON IN TOUCH WITH YOU PUBLISH HIS PICTURE ALONG WITH HIS QUOTES? AFTER ALL YOUR ENTIRE “story” IS WEAVED BASED ON HIS VERSION!!!
