In India everyone is other than Indian. They are North Indian South Indian, marwadi, gujrati, asami. bengali OR NORTH INDIAN BUT PRO CHINA. WITH PAMPERING OF FOREIGN POWERS AND NEGLIGENCE. INDIA IS STILL TO BE INDIA. IT IS DIVERSE CONGLOMERATE W/O SENSE OF BELONGING.

Despite varied cultures ..indian subcontinent has single spiritual essense and customs. a family in JnK lives its daily life very similar to a family in kanyakumari
there is no other civilization or nation that is as ancient and deeply rooted in its age old practices other than india... thats an eye sore to outsiders and out of jealousy they try to attack it time and again..... if only they learn to admire instead of attacking it ..they may probably become a similar civilization like india.
mind you .... india might have had many kingdoms ..but we lived in far greater peace than many regions in the world

Feel sad for the people of North East,if it was with another country or say a sovereign country in case british did not annex it to India as per Yandabu act,the whole region would have been a developed nation like Thailand,Malaysia or Singapore.
But successive congress government's apathy and loot has destroyed the region.Petroleum,tea,lime stone,uranium,coal,hydro power,forest resources etc are looted continuously.In return development is a big zero.
Further,congress vote bank politics have resulted in massive infiltration of Bangladeshi nationals which has destroyed the fabric of ethnic culture and tradition.Bangladeshi touts are exporting local girls to the flesh market.
Sadly,mainland educated guys also taunt them as chinks !
Congress has miserably failed in assimilating people of border states like North Eastern states,Tamil Nadu and Kashmir into the national mainstream.
It is time to do the wrong things right.This is limited my dear Vat1can queen and her desi stooges ,please gear up !
No doubt NE is very important for India. India's look east policy has been announced 2 years ago and I expect the contours of that policy is being finalized.
Vietnam is now already a well accepted nation in the world. Once Burma becomes a fully accepted country in the world, India's look east policy will make a huge difference.
This region should never be underestimated for its potential. Great natural resources, great people, great climate, great beauty. NE will be pride of India soon
kashmiries think they are Kashmiries. Punjanbis think they are punjabies Marathis think they are Marathis Tamils think they are Tamils... Nobody thinks they are first Indians...All of them are just living under one country because, they dont know how to separate and form a separate nation!! Example: Kashmir.

Just shut up, change your thinking, those here in India they may north Indian, south Indian or Hindu or Muslim, etc. but when question arise about county they are all one. Jai Hind.
North East is very much part of India Indian govt has made possible a freight corridor (railway line) Tourism ,hydro electric dams and ecologocal hosuing materials like bamboo etc are all areas where Indian insdutry can tap into and create jobs
Indian govt should facilitate development and usher change and adopt tech in North east India
