While dwelling on cruelty, Rev. Father should remember days during Spanish inquisition, Galileo put to stakes, till recently church proclaiming that earth is flat etc etc........
Swami Vivekanand said India is madhouse of religions. Actually it is madhouse of religions and ideologies. With hinduism in decline there is very little reason for the bits and pieces of India to stick together.
Communism never tried to bring anyone from one relegion to another.. but tried to educated the people to think on a reason.. i dont think catholics had ever did that.. if was.. never would have this catholic this aged and still going ::)..

great ,,keep on comrade, Hell capitalism and fascism
..Hinduism is destroyed, seculars are fighting each other in "secular" Kerala.
And why should the church crib? Church is doing the same after all. Look at the way they are propagating through media and bollywood. Also all movies have a church wedding of the protagonists as if 80% of people in India get wedded in churches. Recent movies like "Stanley ka dabba" are not even trying to hide the overt propaganda.
If they can resort to propaganda, so can marxists. Each one has their tool. Church uses its tools like media and popular cinema, while marxists use their tool like textbooks (when in power) and theatres to propagate their ideology.
Both catholic church and communists has contrubuted for the new face of kerala ie of one which stands tall in view of its Human developement indicators.
In the early 20th century catholic missionaries started numerous educational and health care centres with Universal education concept. The Dalit- Bahujan population hugely benefited from this. The communists on their side also helped in the social upheavel, as state which Swami Vivekananda described as "lunatic Assylum of Castes" now hold the best representation of dalit-bahujans politicaly. The historic Land Reforms law implemented by the communists paved the way for the destruction of the Savarna caste Serfdom in kerala.

The advent of marxian thought in the public and intellectual spheres , paved the way for the disintegration of a confromist, un ethical and appertheidal Savarna legacy
