Very nice and informative article. While I understand the long term vision of the Chinese regarding Pakistan, I am not sure at this point about the long term survivality of the Pakistani state. No one thought that within 25 years of creation of this state, one half will revolt and get out, as happened in 1971. When the liberation was going on both China and USA, who sided with Pakistan, could not do a thing but watch from the sideline as Indian army moved in and dismember that country. This was so because they were siding with the loser. Fragmentation of the current state is possible, and if that scenerio becomnes real, I hope India will have a leader to make the right decisions.

With all due respect - however strong one may be - if he is not on the path of truth, kindness and is not humble will always be defeated or rather humiliated - and its just matter of time - sooner or later its bound to Happen --
