scapegoats
by rebel on May 21, 2011 09:28 AM  | Hide replies

Raja, Kanimozhi, Balwa, Kalmadi...all are scapegoats. the real culprit is still hiding...who has engulfed the maximum share and channelized them to the swiss back account running in some pseudo name...
1. kalmadi did all these without offering to the "high"command?
2. raja did all these and no one came to know abt the same?

emergency, 1984, countless scams right from boforce to 2g, loot in the name of loan waiver, huge huge huge money stored at swiss bank, the list goes on and on...
on second thought, it's all our fault...despite of repeated events like these, we have chosen these people to run our country...and what's more a person like rahul vinci...oops rahul gandhi dreams to be the prime minister of the country (who has a FIR in boston to his credit for carrying $160000 in cash with him, who is lying all the time abt his educational qualification...and many others)...is it a country or a circus?

Congi is the only paraty which is fooling indians in the name of secularism and looting the country by coming in power. But stupid indians believe only in foolish politics of caste and give more preference to caste system rather than growth and clean governance. This is the tragedy of indians who will never learn even after 1000 scams busted.

No loss on account of 2G
by johnson Singh on May 21, 2011 09:13 AM  | Hide replies

It is a media ignorance to state there was 1.7 lac crore loss on account of 2G.

If telecom sector has so much excess cash, what prevents the government from levying the tax now..License fees is only one method of collecting money from a sector...

Ignorance.....Ignorance..........and more ignorance....

It is not to suggest no preferential allotment was attempted by Raza...But to say there was loss to government is stupid...

The point here is that any stick is good enough to beat the Congress with. People have jumped at the "presumptive loss of between Rs 55,000 crores and Rs 176,000 crores" statement of the CAG. The fact that if the Telecom companies had indeed paid this amount as Licence fee we the users would have had to pay high fees and call charges for using our mobile phones is forgotten. The fact that the decision of an elected Government is being questioned by an authority which is not elected is glossed over. That calculations over fees that could have been collected is bandied about. But no calculations about how much the crores and crores of connections which have been given since the opening out of the mobile sector have brought in. The Congress does not know how to go on the offensive. Witness how the BJP in Karnataka and in Delhi have gone ballistic against the Governor forgetting the utter disregard for constitutional norms with which Yeddi is running his Government. Had any Congress Government tried even 50% of what the BJP CM is doing to keep his Government running, we would have had the screaming brigade of the BJP at their voluble best. The admonishment of the Karnataka Speaker and the CM by the Supreme Court does not mean anything to these people. Compare this to the Congress. They have arrested Kalmadi, Raja etc. Tharoor resigned. Chavan was made to resign. Which BJP man resigned? Facts are facts. And calling people "ch

Calling people 'chamchas' is, if nothing else, in poor taste. India is a free country. You are entitled to state your own opinion. Calling people names if they do not subscribe to your views is not a Hindu trait.
