India needs to rediscover its South Asian roots and aid SAARC to become a more cohesive and effective association. Charity begins at home and good neighbours make for a good neighbourhood. Once India has lifted itself and its South Asian neighbours to the status of developed nations, then by all means India can aid other nations like a full-fledged developed country instead of a paper (tiger) superpower. When scores of millions of Indian citizens lack basic amenities, India has the money to purchase billion dollar armaments and extend billions of dollars of credit to other nations. India should put its house in order first.
India is still a 4th world country, for starters there is no democracy in India, I mean real democracy, most darker skinned people in India are not even allowed to vote leave alone run for office

India could have failed vacuum caused by de-colonisation but as usual failed miserably. The flight to and from Khartoum last month was full with more than 65% occupied by Chinese workers.Inside the North african countires Chinese presence is huge.Indian democratic and corrupt bueracracy will never serve the purpose and on time. Pathetic. This is the furture market of the world, Africa.

Not a single indian airline is operating to any of african countries other than RSA Angola tanzania kenya congo ivory coast botswana nigeria etc have large indian community our own people wait patiently for ethiopian airline or other airline And indias so called national carrier runs at loss
