Need of the hour .
by Rajavelan Ranganathan on May 22, 2011 11:59 AM

The Indian Constituency is framed with a lot of ifs and buts in its regulations. The objective of such system is unknown to the common man. Also the chances to making money precede the opportunity to understand the Government system. So I suppose the ideas about youth in politics are not the topic of the hour but Awareness of the Youth, which is the strength of any nation. It’s damn non productive in forming commissions/bodies to investigate the Corruptions but things are to be set up in order to cultivate the best offspring of the nation. This cannot be achieved if the Government takes actions. The Educated population should feel the moral responsibility to educate/increase awareness. Then Our Election commission’s regulation can be restructured to mandate the educational qualification of Candidates. In this case also problems arise but there is lot of difference between quarrel and Discussion in an Assembly which determines a nations fate.Properly Guided Youth force can make wonders, then the concept of experienced and inexperienced will find hard to exist.India is not land of scarcity but with improper distribution of wealth. So the lack of resources is not a issue provided the wealth to be tapped with the robust mechanism.

Indian Politics is MINORITY REPORT MOVIE.
by K Vemu on May 21, 2011 10:24 PM  | Hide replies

Its like "Ji" movie by Ajith. Old guys don't want to leave. Govt employees don't budge to new guys when olds are around. You end up a disappointment. Its that simple. Maybe an IAS level education training program may improve things, I guess. Its a credibility game and everybody wants to win it!

However, if a Politician can do an IAS job, why do we need an IAS anymore? Right! Its people's democracy, a Politician is just a Pilot, an IAS/Govt Official is just an Accountant and a Spiritual Guru is just a Doctor. That's how it works.

Non can perform in Parliament unless it restores freewill.
by Bala krishna on May 21, 2011 07:25 PM

Mere presence of young person's in the House is not the solution to present day deliberations in the Parliament where the illegal assembly in the form of party High command over taking the role of functioning to deliberately to cheat the State by amending the Constitution and making the Judiciary subordinate to achieve the party objective against the welfare of the state. The Election commission itself has sells itself to the party in the wake of precedent of Parliamentary superiority is nothing but Criminal negligence to subvert the process of Election is the route cause of all misdeeds inthis country.

Youth MPs / MLAs are sons/daughters of present or ex MPs/MLAs
by Guru on May 21, 2011 07:48 AM  | Hide replies

So called young MPS / MLAs are sons and daughters of present or ex MPs and MLAs . If any Indian think that those young MPS are smart enough to understand average Indian's problems and take stand , then I feel pity for them . These guys are born with silver spoon raised in Air Conditioned rooms , never done anything constructive of their own. They never know how
how average Indian leads poor life. By the way Rahul is 40 yrs old , no where in the world 40 yrs old is called as Youth .
