Rahul does not impress as a leader
by nirmal chandra shukla on May 20, 2011 10:30 AM  | Hide replies

So far Rahul does not show desired characterstics of a leader. He sounds more like a school kid complaining ..notconfident, incoherent.Good old crocodiles ... I mean congress Digvijays ... have put on a wrong hourse( not a winning horse .....Bihar showed it)Tragedy is , there are no Chanakyas left neither in Congress nor in BJP.I will put my bet on FOUR PERSONS TO SAVE THIS COUNTRIES FUTURE...JAYALALITHA, NARENDRA MODI, SUBRAMANIUM SWAMY AND SATISH MISHRA (BSP).

Shameful analysis
by Devendra Dixit on May 20, 2011 09:19 AM  | Hide replies

Shonali,
Have you really gone into the the depth of this matter or just wanted to flaunt your juicy english with this stupid article. I have a piece of advise for you, as this article sufficiently proves that you still have a long way to go in terms of developing a sense of analysis of the situation, unti you gain some sense and sanity stop taking snap judgements and dont share your stupid ideas with anybody, atleast not in public. Cant you think of anybody( for instance it could be Rahul also) who may get disturbed to see an unpleasant situation and take wrong judgement. You also have written that atrocities were not of the degree that Rahul had reported. By this do you really mean that hue and cries should be made only if somebody is killed or some woman is raped. Burning of the houses, threatening people etc. seems to be no crime in your view. Is it? How many times your house has been ransacked? Is it OK if it happens with somebody.
Its time you as a media person mature fast to decide between what's right and what's wrong.

Mr.dixit-your comment only show your maturity and like frog in a well. Why u fail to understant that these Frog(Rahul) shout on the eve of election.UP like situation is now across the India. Its paid media(like NDTV etc)who create a pitch for congress and make hue and cry.Rahul has not done any thing new,its Congress tactics since Nehru time to gain such political mileage.

Simple explanation
by Basant Bharati on May 20, 2011 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

In spite of the goof up on the controversy of "heaps of ashes" and "74 burnt bodies",
the mother and son duo continue with their
tirade in the same tone on UP issue.

Because it is from a bought piece of advice from strategy consultants and the duo can not change their stance depending upon the latest status of the issue. It requires brains and own thinking ability.

agree, joker's mama need a good consultant now, and she should learn the act of speaking on mike with eyes toward listeners instead of directly looking in english written hindi lines on papers.

Shonalee Biswas,

Good coverage.

But there is one difference.

But wise politicians know when to retract, but shouting brigade of Congress don't, just to please the boss.
But the duo is doing the same ( not changing the gear) without realising the status and consequences.

Villagers have to sacrifice. they want road, electricity, jobs created. but wont give land. what a moron. somebody has to sacrifice. otherwise keep dreaming. why would any private go there if they dont have chance of making profit. indians are greedy to the core. thinking is other should give their land, why should i. well then keep living in jungle like animals. and neta are always fool people emotionally. no body inspire them to be brave and face the reality of modern world.

No need of sacrifices, Give them a fair deal. The existing land rates should be given to farmers. But, what Rahul baba is barking at the wrong tree. Its a very small issue, at local level. Land acquisition as such should be very clearly defined and regulated by center. Alleging murders and rapes is not at all civilized. Without proof barking like a dog.

The rule is simple. Indians love their neighbor than their religion. Politicians cannot fool the country in the name of religion or pseudo secularism. Secularism is there in every INDIANS heart

shabby writeup
by Murali on May 20, 2011 02:38 AM  | Hide replies

What an asinine article that presents bigoted, disputable "opinions" in the guise of well established facts.

Nearly every statement and argument of this author can be disputed. From BJP owing its ascension to "fear mongering alone" to the supposed statement attributed to Varun Gandhi.. to the shabby summarization of what DMK stands for.

So many half-truths and mis-statements.. all to make Yuvaraj Raoul look good (which is proving an increasingly difficult task to these makeover journos)

you idiziot sharma.. try reading it again yourself..

The article tries to trivialize Rahul's devious politics by using the typical media-sponsored nihilist rhetoric of "ALL POLITICIANS R SAME EVIL" and therefore dont blame our "young" prince too much.

Try to understand the innuendos and the typical indian yellow/soldout journalist mindset -

IF YOU CANT MAKE YOUR MAN LOOK GOOD, MAKE EVERYONE ELSE LOOK BAD !
