If only our country has visonary leaders like Obama or Clinton, why should our students be leaving India? They wont. Not easy to leave parents and go off. Here after IIT you go and lick some bloody asse for your salary and nod your head to the asse and sleep? These are kids with brilliance who dont want to waste their tallent licking asse of PM and Maino.

living in US or Europe means better work environment as well as better infrastructure to live. with all these frauds going on i think India has very bleak future. so better leave the country at the very first oppartunity.

OK, leave this country of frauds but do not use this corrupt country's money to get subsidised education, only to serve US later.
June 2009 Washington Obama speech: US President Barack Obama has exhorted his countrymen to buckle up as the Indians and Chinese are catching them fast, as Americans have now settled into mediocrity. Our kids are falling behind when it comes to science.
The great indian scholar is dead. The education system which produced engineers and doctors only on the basis of merit is dead. Today, we have adopted the rotten education-for-money system of US. Nobody, howsoever intelligent or hard-working s/he may be can afford to study if his/her parents do not have money and vice-versa. Today, we produce engineers who can not spell their college's names. We have abolished exams and then we have helplines telling students it is OK to fail if their parents are rich.

Well said but this is because of our corrupt politicians vote bank policy. You know who is benefficial of this policy? Already kids of riched or well settled Lower Caste ppl. We must give them the good education and facilities to grow as a mature and capable human being, so that they can make path for themselves. But Government is making them handicap. and its not good for any Nation.

Thank you all for your feedback. What i was referring to was the fact that earlier hard working and intelligent students got affordable education while now most institutes have been told to fend for themselves and therefore "sell" seats. a man of small means can not afford education even if his ward is deserving. I did not mention about reservations which is another cancer of society.

Indian education system is a mere waste. The reason why we get job there is for the pay that we get which is a gold mine to you and a "left over" for them. The time is not too far when they are going to thrash out when we have a even platform to play around. Dont play the quota politics here. Colleges may offer reservation but everyones the same when it comes to work and performance.

37% of Indian population is still poor. All due to our arrogant and corrupt politicians/IAS/IPS/IRS
