This Governor is unique
by on May 16, 2011 12:07 PM

1. As a central law minister , he went abroad to issue character certificate to Quotrochy, the Bofors scandal agent.

2.As a governor, he asked and got two head counts at the same time from Yeddie to prove his majority.

3. Now when everything has failed, he is recommending President's rule.

4.He is openely supporting Congress party and acting as a Congress agent, in spite of being a Governor.

No one is justifying any corruption.

But I think it is wrong to ratify each and every Kaangress accusation that flies today without any basis...

testing time for people of karnataka
by divine on May 16, 2011 12:07 PM

Yet again the governor is playing the villain role in the governance of karnataka knowing fully well that the BJP is having absolute majority to run the government with the recent winning of bypoll and also the return of Rebel MLAs who had temporarily brought in some tension to the CM by the inducement act of Congress and JD(S).

The governor has crossed all limits of decency and the courtesy needs him to call the CM and discuss the situation and after ascertaining from him with time frame, he should send his assessment to the centre for them to take suitable action. His recommendation to the centre to keep the Assembly in Suspended Animation is autocratic and he needs dressing down by the government as well as by the Centre for his haste and myopic view.
The people of karnataka should show their power, in case, an election is forced on them, to throw away the JD(S) and Congress in lock stock and barrel as people did it in Bihar and TN, recently.

kandan, bangalore

Disminss BJP government
by Pravin on May 16, 2011 12:04 PM  | Hide replies

Ever since BJP has come to power , they are murdering the democratic process. They conducted operation lotus , which is nothing but buying MLA's. Abused power to the maximum. The flashpoint was when they used speaker's office to disqualify the MLA's , what was that , wasnt that unconstituional , what happened to all these BJP supporters who are talking about undemocratic and unconstituional .BJP has been getting away with every murderous acts of democracy. Friday's Supreme Court order coming down heavily on Speaker an Chief minister for abusing the Anti defection law is good enough reason to dismiss this government. Yedyurappa should have resigned immediately , post the verdict. But as shameless he is..Alas, this state doesnt deserve this..
I think this is the time to teach these BJP a lesson.
If Central government dismisses this Corrupt, unconstituional , undemocratic BJP , i think that is the first step.
People be ready, if these BJP guys take it to violence, Lets begin the agitation, Lets throw this dirt called BJP forever.

Bharadwag has sold himself to Zoniaji while defending the Bofors case, what moral authority this chamcha of Sonia has got to dismiss a government. We know that he can stoop to this level.
