Hundreds of people die in accidents everyday and every newspaper carries news about it. Does that CM convey condolence message to all of them? What's next? Some state mourning?

Politiians will do that if it gets them some votes. They dont really care for lives of the common man.
Seems this has become a trend for Indian students to meet with road accidents in US. I personally know 4 students from our university who killed two old couple ,Americans, coming from opposite direction including themselves. Because these guys were driving all night without taking break to save money on Motel. These immature d Indian student guys without proper driving experience come on to the highways and become dangerous.
Driving on USA highways could be very tricky thing. A small mistake would be fatal. Unless the person has at-least 5000 miles experience on internal roads in cities one should not take the vehicle on to highways in US. Its not a joke. Anyway lets pray god to give their parents strength, to deal with this situation.

i dont care atleast in this context where 4 young Indians have died in an accident, all I care about is their families now - to all students and children, when your parents advice you not to do things that your friends consider cool, remember its their experience which talks - its perfectly fine to stay away and being labelled a loser than die in an accident

Sonia, well said. In rediff, the detailed info is better. Non-indian websites will definitely call them indians.
