The american establishment are only themselves to blame for all the breast beating they are doing now over what looks like Pak's duplicity after Osama's cover is blown up. Actually considering the cult status Osama enjoys in Pakistan, most likely After the Tora –Bora incident, the Pak army led by Mush had consciously separated the fleeing Osama from rest of Al-qaida and sheltered him and made Osama non-negotiable with the Americans on war on terror. Most likely the badly ailing Osama needing modern medical care was hidden inside some military cantonment of either Rawalpindi or Islamabad by Musharraf and later on when he was planning to hand over the power to a civilian govt. by 2007-08 Osama must have been shifted out of the cantonment and put in the garrison town of Att’bad sometimes during 2005-06 for obvious reasons. So, the world and the Americans must understand that as far as Osama was concerned he was untouchable and non-negotiable even for Americans and the most powerful Pakistani after Zia, General Musharraf must have been the main brain behind shielding Osama.
poorkis have openly slapped US in the face and challenged their authority!
Its becoming visible that US is losing its supremacy in the world.
Backed by powerful china, pooorkis have showed US the finger but keeping osama under their wings and not worrying about what will happen to them if US finds out!
Is this how the US will crumble in international circles?

On the contrary, it is now abundantly clear that nobody, just nobody, messes with USA with impunity.
Its really funny and the best comedy of the century. With US funding all Pak miltary's requirements and in return Pak asking Afghanistan to ditch US and join China. To top it all, Pak has built a million dollar mansion in a highly secure and posh area for Mr OBL, the mosted wanted man in the history of US and making US look more like Mr. Jack Ass. So far it has ridden on top of the US pony and managed to stay on top of it, inspite of screwing it several times. May be US likes the tickles

Good job done by pakistan. Trillions of dollars looted from lutera america and hiding the osama in backyard. well done pakistan
All well that ends well. No matter it was a joint venture of USA & ISI, no matter USA president has given commitment to their country man to call the army from Afghanistan within a certain period and without killing Osama it was difficult. no matter the US President was to regain his popularity. If Pak takes a lesson and genuinely try to stop terrorism then all is well. may good sense prevail in PAK.
I think we give too much credit to pakistan, I dont think they could have kept their mouth shut for six years harboring him. The corrupt generals would have exploited this situation, they are too corrupt to live on Osama's ideals, heinous ideals
It's a well know fact that Pak has been allowing Osama to live in one of their towns or cities. He was anyway ill and was being treated by military doctors. There's a saying which says that you make lot of money through an elephant, whether it is alive (by making it work) or dead (by selling its body parts and ivory). This applies well to Pak and Osama. Osama is the elephant here. Through out his life, Pak army used him and aired his clippings to create fear and get the dollars. After he died due to illness, they stuck a deal with Obama that they would hand over his body to them, so that they can shoot him and take photos, do a facial recognition, do DNA tests, so on, and then throw his body into the sea. The deal would be that Obama gets all the popularity and Pak gets more funds and after US exit from Afghanistan, would get more say in that country. Since, Pak doesn't wish to bear the brunt of fundamentalists, it is distancing itself from this Op and pretending that it is not aware of helicopters travelling 200 Kms, into a military town. Though Pak authorities are acting to be in a spot to explain to the world, US would definitely not act against Pak for obvious reasons. The entire episode would be forgotten in a short time period. Note down my words - this entire event was stage managed by US and Pak authorities. There's definitely more to it than what meets the eye.

That's the whole problem. Truth will not be allowed to come out. In this era of media managed information dissemination, people would see what is fed through the channels, nothing more, nothing less. Didn't you see how Obama administration selectively released photos of Obama and his ministers sitting in a tense mood, so on?
