Northies with their highly developed migratory instincts can play an important role in integrating Kashmir with rest of India. A few million northies in Kashmir instead of Mah solve the problem once for all.
Only Kashmiris are ruling over Kashmir as no one can settle there. They are having much better demoratic norms comparing to rest of country. PAK has shifted more than 20 lacs Punjabi Mislims in POK, but our Govt. deliberately not settling even Muslims from other States. Otherwise people in lacs and lacs can reach Kashmir and outnumber these Islamic fanatic Jihadis, they must understand it, that Kashmir belongs to us.
New leadership at all layers---Top, middle, lower level, town, city, panchayat, village, ward levels will end the campaign of alienation. In that way local self govt bodies poll in Kashmir becomes important. Let a thousand visions converge and develop a vibrant kashmir where dialogue and cooperation wins over gun fights and negative sentiments of frustration.

Only the intruded and infiltrated pakistani along with separatist should be given to pakistan not Kashmir. India can manage Kashmir if politician serve India with patriotism and not traitors to gain their political loot declaring heavy packages of which half in their coffer, so keeping it a political issue can go on for years and years with loot of Indian public tax money.
we need to be transparent with people of Kashmir. It is not the option for them to seperate from Indian union but they shoukld be allowed to elect their rulers by democratic means without any interfarence from the centre. There should be srtict border control but inside the state it shouuld be state police that should control law and order. There is no need to panic if there are some protests now and than.central government should not try to manipilate the politics in any way. Actually the best option would be if national parties like congress and BJP leave the local politics to the regional parties and do not particepate in assembly elections but only in parliamentry elections.

treatting kashmir like as though they have been wronged is foolish..kashmir gets more central aid than any other state in india. they have free elections regularly..compared with ststes like orissa, and northestern states kashmiri unemployment is less.and yes kashmiri muslims have to be taught to be secular.....secularism is not just for hindus...the mullahs and separatists are the true culprits.....we should learn from china..how they handled the islamic revolt in its eastern parts....

While the discussion on Kashmir, my friend went forward and blammed Christians.. Great.. The history of Human is not at all great. Its what to be blamed, its the same for Hindus, Muslims, Christians and all other religions. But speaking about kashmir, I feel, they are always in the centre of concern for Govt6 of India and get more aid then any other state. the state j&K is comprised of jammu with Hindus a little majority that never show any problem, Laddakh & Leh with Budhhist majority that never show any problem inspite of Chinese interference. but in Kashmir is always a problem because of Muslim majority there. The pandits were dragged out of their homes, but still they are not happy. What should be done is before doing panchayat elections, there should be another election asking the people what they want, opt-1 a separate state or opt-2 a part of India. If majority select Opt-1 India should take steps to make it separate. If majority select Opt-2, then all separists should be sent to jail for waging hatred against India and the pandits should be allowed to get their homes back.
