CPM sees no hope in such Tug of war between TMC and Congress!!
by subhasis banerjee on Mar 31, 2011 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

This time leaders of cpm organizations sees no hope in such tug-of-war between TMC and congress. Simple reason beind is that this time the alliance going to win most contituencies in more than a margin of over 25-30000 votes. If you look at the last two assebly election that were held after te LS polls namely Baripur and Saltlake where Madan Mitra and Sujit bose contested it will b clear. In the LS polls in these two contituencies Te alliance managed to bag a lead of around 4-5 thousand votes. But in the assembly polls whic held after few months the margin reached to as high as around 30000 votes. No there is no magical power wich acted beind such gain. Only thing that happened lefts could not manage to rig polls as they similarly failed in the civic polls excepting some seats like JAMURIA where they bagged all seats and TV reported showed masked men with arms openly bombing and firing!! with te Ec is determined to conduct a free poll and the people of bengal determined not to allow mockery of election this election going to be different one. The most paert of bengal is now out of suc reign-of terror.. and coming days many more parts would become such danger ..

This time also the margins of TMC INC alliance candidates will go up by 5000-10000 more compared to the civic polls.Mainly because EC this time has started capturing the illegal arms which were supposed to be used during the elections. The Maoists also have been curbed from their activities by which they always saved the CPM in Jongolmohol.

Radius of Free zones are shrinking!
by subhasis banerjee on Mar 31, 2011 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

there is no doubt about that. Even lefts knows better. As the pool dates are approaching they are behaving like the opposition. In fact few days before they took out a rally with the businessmen and workers attached to Garment industry whre they open said 'look we are out of power and whats the alliance is doing'. They are mentally out of power after the lok sabha polls where they tried their best. And after they Lok sabha civic body polls made it very clear that their position is worsening as days are going on. Even public are very less interested about such forecast. They are quite sure about bringing TMC-Cong alliance in power. As days are are passing the radius of "free zones" where lefts never allowed to hold any election and made a perfect mockery of democracy in previous election is shrinking. The free zone has its epicentre at Goghat. The oppostions even manage to bag six seats in ARAMBAGH constituency in the last civic body election!! Now most part of Aranbagh and even Chandrakona and kotulpur constituencies are even out of this REd terror tainted FREE ZONES or no democracy zones. Up to the final report only Goghat kotulpur and parts of arambag and chandrakona are falling under this free zonees where people are fuming and may aquire courage any day to fight back. Only few seats in Jangalmahal where Maoists and Harmads are coexisting are unpredictable. But number of such HARMAD - Maoist battle tainted constituencies merely 4- 6 as much I kn

Even Goghat is now getting free from this Red terror zone.Long rallies are being organised in Goghat which even two years back no opposition could ever think of.

I know that. But as per reports there are few harmad camps in goghat kotulpur and chandrakona constituencies.. Although they reorganized their harmad camps after they netai incident people of these constituencies are not entirely free from fear of being killed and looted. But I think th situation will improve after the election commission sends few companies of crpf teir and they start flaf marching..

MIrzafars
by sujit sengupta on Mar 31, 2011 02:50 PM  | Hide replies

As it is,TNMC INC alliance will get almost 200 seats out of 294.However,even if they loose 5-8 seats due to these independent caniddates, the result won't matter much. However, these candidates will be marked as gaddars and Mirzafars in West Bengal political History as for them CPM seats may increase by a few numbers. (Though the chances are very remote)

It is not probablity and is reality. If the CPIM Gundas allow the Booth Agents of their opponents in polling booths, in most of the seats they will not get their deposits back in Kerala and West Bengal. The elections are rigged by the by moneypower and musclepower. This time at least in West Bengal, such thing will not be allowed to happen by the people, I am sure.

Part of Congress Culture
by subhasis banerjee on Mar 31, 2011 02:37 PM  | Hide replies

This type expression of resentmeent openly over isues like allotment of seats is part of congress culture. Since there is democracy in such parties the can show their displasure. Although making internal matters public may seem to somebody as lack of discipline but one cant deny that starting from the first election congress is showing this type of beheviour. One reason behind it that many congress leaders accross the country win election at their own reputation like Adhuir choudhury in Murshibadab. But at the end of th day it is the public who will vote and this time they are determinde to outvote the Leftfront. And as we will approach to the poll date, concsnsus candidates would start to emerge in such troubled constiotuencies and public finally vote for him/her. And their is very little chance that this time few leakage of vote would make it possible for the lefts to make a dent. In most of the constituencies the TMC-CONG alliance is going to win in very large margin unlike 2001 elections. The ground reality this time is completely different and such disagrrements would be sorted out soon.

Perferctly said.Actually these candidates should understand what their main motive is.Maybe ther motive is not to dethrone CPM and thus they are creating chaos.Everyone this time knows that this time there is a sure win if someone stands from the TMC Congress aliance.Maybe that is one more reson to fight for winning seats.

CPM B Team
by sujit sengupta on Mar 31, 2011 02:36 PM  | Hide replies

Many leaders inside the Congress has acted as CPM B team(name not to be taken) and for them only,CPM could rle for last 34 years.Even after saibari Massacare, congres could not build up any agitation or political isue to get justice to the family.None of these congress leaders were seen during singur isue,Nandigram isue or netai issue.Only Sukhendusekhar Roy fught the case for Netai massacare. Now under Mamata, the people of bengal is all set to dethrone CPM,the old Congressis are once again ready to save CPM.But this time it will be of no use as the votes have been polarised and this was proved in Cooporation election where congres faught seperately and were brought down to 10 seats in Kolkata Coporation. These CPM B team Congressis will be washed off on 13th May.

So far as West Bengal is concerned, Congress does not deserve more than 25 seats. It is due to the sympathy of Ms. Banerjee that being a National Party, Congress should not be humiliated he has agreed to give them 65 seats. In any way the killers of innocent farmers in Nandigram and Singur are finished!
