Police is already doing that to all kinds of people. By the way, your word "publically" does not make sense. Did you mean "pubically"?
The report is cleverly written. While other sites are reporting that Aseemananda has alleged of physical and mental presure by cops to confess his involvement, this report cleverly avoided this piece of information.

On msn.com a report by India Syndicate states as follows
"At an Ajmer court, on Tuesday, Aseemanand submitted a letter to the court which said: "I have been pressurised mentally and physically by the investigating agencies to 'confess' that I was behind these blasts."
Whereas Rediff has reluctantly put this clever and brief report.
Asemanand must be under intense pressure from some organisation and that might be the reason for his summersault. Judiciary should investigate into this aspect. He is sincere and person with a conscience and will finally come out with the truth.
