by arungopal agarwal on Mar 30, 2011 11:51 AM

In our media all such news are flashed, but we have neven seen any reolt by any unit of US army, or anyone has denied to go to war or adopted any mean to avoid to participate.
US strategically spent such huge money on wars in orders to gain future benefits to US.

It was a big mistake
by Vivek Dev on Mar 30, 2011 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

It was a big mistake on the part of the white man to give up the former colonies. Most of the former colonies are in an advanced stage of ruin and now pose a big threat to the west. Time has come for the west to realise the mistake and get back to establishing joint BRitish and American Raj. This will be in the interests of both the west as well as the sujbect east.

Yes Avivek,
Let us not talk about white and black. In USA, black is the president.

May be, our commies would be very happy to read your comments.

Who is going to ensure world order? Might is not right.
Why Saddam attacked Iran and Kuwait?

Why Gadafi didn't step down and order free elections?

What kind of rights a woman has in Arab world?

Can we say that they are civilized and resepct democratic order?

Do we have democracy in Arab world? The movement came from Arab People. Please don't bash USA always.... Obama didn't act till last min.

The concept of no fly zone came from Arab fanatics. They pleaded UN to act.

The reason is they want to have good time and supress the movements with in their countries.

The problem lies with in Arab. Not in USA. Idiot Saddam invaded small country Kuwait.

Unless Arab Leaders come out from 7th century Tribal mindset, they can not progress. The bottom line is innocent Arab people are suffering. Leaders have to show them better path.

you are stating as if Gaddafi was angel...he was killing his own civilians (yes the rebels are no better, but a negotiated settlement is possible with them).
Where were all the security council members, some with even veto powers when the resolution was passed.
yes the use of force is selective for weak nations or nations that doesnt serve western interest...but that is no reason to say that the nofly zone attacks are crime.

one should shout at the helm of the voice for ouster of the dictators, from where ever which ever country they belong to.

Are you justify America's intervention in India, when it is proved that our PM and his colleagues are corrupt and general public is great stress.
And also genocide in Gujarat, Babri demolition, Sikh massacre and of course Kashmir dispute!
Your and mine answer will be no and no thousands of time.
Then why targeting these weak Muslim nations.

Yes, indeed if we have a problem and we are not going to find a solution to it. How it will look if there is a genocide in India, or if there is communal massacre of proportions showing no signs of let down. then defenitely yes. after all if a government cannot guarantee the basic right to live of citizens the innocent citizens it loses the right to stay in power.

why Muslim nations? that is a question Muslims have to ask themselves. is there unity in islamic world. are the islamic countries following islamic tennets?. America will be better off than many of them.

Gaddafi is infact much bigger criminal even to muslims since he has killed muslims.

Going by your logic, there should be no fly zones over kashmir, north east, chattisgarh, orissa, jharkhand.. Sometimes military action is needed to preseve the unity of the country.

Yes, a no fly zone is required if India uses aereal weapons to kill protestors who are merely demonstrating. Even the death of stone pelting protestor by police action doesnt go through the conscience of an average India without scratches. Do our government go all out against kashmiri protestors, or against naxals. No. simply the public wont allow it. you can blame democracy, but still peoples consent is required for any action.
if Libyan killings can evoke response in India, then why the US doesnt intervene

If UN approves it, we have to do.

Kashmir case is different. Our idiots approached UN. In general, in INDIA, everybody has lot of freedom. We personnel laws to specific communities.

Such mass movements come when the state tries supress the rights.

return on spendings does matter in longterms
by kailash chander on Mar 30, 2011 10:58 AM

it's counted investment and return on this investment in many ways and not only inguise of money. cheaper availability of minerals/oil/gas,raw materials, sale of millitary equipments, infrastructure tenders, etc. including control on the region as this is the best way of selfdefence.
let's know how much america and alliance has earned on their war spendings in iraq, afghanistan, etc. rightnow and how much they can earn in longterm.

India should strongly oppose
by Manu Tandon on Mar 30, 2011 10:51 AM

In a country a section oppose the government and fighting breaks out. Does this give US or for that matter any other country interfere in internal matters????

God forbid this can happen in Kashmir also. There are good number of dissident voices in Kashmir.

Today you are allowing west to attack at will and you do not oppose it.

The foreign office must understand this can happen in India as well.
