It's wrong when an Indian politician from a party with a separatist attitude attends an event celebrating the country that supports the same separatism. Got it?

What do you think Porki's intention is when they invite separatist politicians to their events? They want to prove a point. These morons implicitly support the Porki demands when they attend such events.

Their point is anyway being proved based on the opposition shown by people here. The more importance you give to them, more strongger they become..just let them off..its a free country you can not dictate who invites whom and who shud attend..

No one is dictating these morons to attend or not. They should be glad they are living in a free country. Wouldn't it have been better if these idiots denied the invitation voluntarily? I am not blaming the govt. I am blaming these knuckle-heads.

The Maulvi's allegiance is wide open

And he is a former minister in the state government sworn in bearing allegiance to constitution of India.

Technically he would argue there is nothing much in attending the Pakistan Day celebrations having been invited, but everybody knows where his allegiance lies !

Its a great shame- it will draw conclusions on whether Muslims can take any oaths meaningfully - though so many times more moderate muslims stay away from Paki events.

Such black sheep should be skinned publicly for peace in India..

Gentleman : dont call in question the patriotism of muslims. For your information prior to independence all major islamic seminaries were against the division of the country. It was a negotiation between an Indian leadership and a Khoja gentleman - a sect which refuses to call itself muslim nor do muslims recognise them as mainstream.

If it was true then all the muslims in Pakistan and Bangladesh would still be Indians...such bluff is part of Taquiah( policy of deception) - please check if you are being deceived by Mullas as was Kasab.

People who lack wisdom and intelligence thrive on and indeed create division, whereas societies with predominantly wise and intelligent inhabitants are progressive as enlightened people understand the artificiality, absurdity and harm caused by such separation. Just look at the nations that believe in rigidity of religious hierarchy and dogmas, they are backward, poor and regressed forever mired in endless internecine conflicts and bloodshed. Europe, parts of East Asia and North Americas and indeed parts of the world free from such bigotry and with more enlightened attitude devoid of stress on religiosity and religious divisions continue to progress at an accelerated rate.

Gentleman : you are foolishly writing the same post everywhere.

If you have even minute intelligence, you would realise the Indian Constitution is one of the most intelligently written document in the world.

The most diverse country in the world being held together by a single document to which everybody bear allegiance cannot be dismissed as crap.

Dr. Ambedkar did a marvellous job in giving us this constitution and the nation ought to be grateful to him. Let us not belittle this service to the nation especially by people like you who least realise what they are talking behind the comfortable security of remaining incognito on this discussion board.
