Japan Nuke Power
by Shashank Parulekar on Mar 18, 2011 09:27 AM

Japan is such a small country why it needs so many nuke reactors. Japan has suffered nuke setback in WW2. It should have opposed all nuke programs all over the world. Also why the other countries has to suffer the radiation from Japan. Japan is accountable for this.

Strange

Its strange that Japan didn't prepare for this scenario. I mean they should have expected a earthquake of this magnitude as it happens regulary ( albiet smaller). What was thier Plan B , I'm suprised this scenario was not considered in their Risk and Safety planning.

Dude, they do considered such level of risk but it is beyond human control.

You know, you can't control natural disasters

AN WHERE WILL INDIANS GO, WHEN THESE NUKES EXPLODE?

THEY JUST DIE LIKE COWARDS THAT THEY ARE.

Difficult Stage
by hilda on Mar 17, 2011 11:03 PM  | Hide replies

It is a very difficult stage to Japan.
If there is a Melt Down in Reactor it will be a big DISASTER in World History.
It will deteriorate the Whole economy of World at once.

Hilda : I agree with you. By the time Japan recovers after reconstruction, the world economic order would have changed significantly.

The world is still oblivious of the aftermath essentially because the tragedy is still unfolding. Once done, they will undertake a damage assessment subsequent to which there will be monetary measures which they would be compelled to take, which in turn will significantly dent the fortunes of the FII's and Hedge funds.

Japan has borne the brunt of the natural calamity, but it seems the western world will face a financial tsunami.

The country which is most likely to benefit out of this catastrophe will be China. I am inclined to believe they may already be brainstorming.

If there is any other country which could put a coalition of countries together to ensure all including Japan benefits - that would be India. But we are famous for our lackadaisical approach. Delay in being proactive would cost us heavily.
