Shias are human beings and Sunni cannot deprive them from basic fundamental rights.
They have to provide reservation for minority Shias

Reasons

Total popoulation is 5 and half lakhs.

Do you think by election, things will be alright. If yes, why all our INDIANs didnt get their share of growth, why the poor people suffer and why they living in poverty a major part of indian. Why there two types of indians, one who live with wealth, other who vote to give thier wealth.

Election is one thing which keeps people calm that they have particiapted in the govt forming which if the govt does not keep them happy they can change the party in the next elections.

In India when there are protests, govt dont uses military to quell protest...for example Telegana protets..only police is handling and there are no Militart tanks brought in or firing from helocopters

Secondly, India dont invite neighbouring troops to quell protests...which is a shame that ouwn citizens are being killed by foreign forces

thirdly wepaons used against protesters are sphisticated booght from UK which is suppose to be used in the militart battles and not against citizens.

The protests are illogical..
by manjunath naik on Mar 17, 2011 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

These protests going on since Feb 14th were totally illogical especially when under the garb of peaceful turned into a farce with vigilantes threatening the common man on the road. The manner in which the roads opposite the BFH highway and Manama centre were closed necessitated the government to act. They acted swiftly, professionally and hats off to the patience and perseverance they showed all the while. Protests were no longer peaceful since last ten days and the world should know that the rulers and the government showed incredible restraints before they came severe. Today the streets are safer and slowly but surely things should limp back to normal within days. Lets not give this a sectarian flavour as these flavours have left all our tongues bitter. Keep religion out of politics please. Your religion is between you and your god.

by george thomas on Mar 17, 2011 10:46 AM  | Hide replies

The protesters were all Bahraini.
They were all pro-Bahrain.
They are now forced to become anti-Bahraini.

What a BIG shame.

Wahhabis should be stopped
by RB on Mar 17, 2011 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

The Sauds are trying to diminish the number of shias by doing a massacre to change the demography of Bahrain. This is a genocide. These dictators are not thinking as Muslims but only their own interest. Bahrainis citizens need to be assisted as much as the Sauds are assisting the al khalifa.

Saudi/Wahhabis are not killing the person but they are peaceful keeper and to save all oil reservior and spread good enivornment,But Choas who illegally migrated to bahrain without legal visa. Before placing on board try to know the field fact of Bahrain. You have got sympathy because you are SHIA.
Even the King of Bahrain has given nos of oppurtunity to you all.You all have some different aim and object which will never fulfill because the way people have selected is very different which will give harm you all only. The World knows the each and every fact about Bahrain.

Dont confuse the issue. The Bahraini dictator is committing genocide with the helpf of the brutal and primitive Saudis. All right thinking people should support the ordinary Bahraini in his struggle for a modern and democratic life.
