As history reveals, Batcha's wife may be given ticket from Perambalur. Earlier there was One Venkatesan killed in the encounter by Chennai Police( at the time Jaya's rule). His wife Selvi, who was not at all a political line ( she was pregnant too that time)was given a MP seat and was also a Minister during 1st UPA regime. Secondly Aladi Aruna who quit DMK before the last election, murdered with in short period after he quit DMk and his daughter was given MLA tkcket and made Pongothai as Minister. That is what History of Murder and ministership in Tamilnadu.

unfortunately for Anna nagar Ramesh family - entire family committed sucide when jaya govt was on trail to unearth a serious corruption scandle charged on stalin and if ramesh was captured he could have turned out to be an approver and hence he was made to committ sucide themself along with family members ( threatened by henchmen that they will rape his wife and daughters in front of this guy ramesh which forced them to committ suscide themself) This is the culture of tamilnadu.

Interestingly, Stalin visited Ramesh's home in Anna Nagar in the evening and that night the family committed suicide

Simple analysis says that Batcha was ready to reveal some big fishes and mother of all big/small fishes which could have shaken the GOI, so regional and central partners had only one option left; they made him sleep (BatcheKoSulaDiya)
